Appetizers - Bacon - Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

3 (8 oz.) cans whole water chestnuts
1 pound bacon
teriyaki or soy sauce


Cut bacon in thirds and wrap each bacon piece around a water chestnut. Secure with a toothpick. Marinate in teriyaki sauce or soy sauce for at least one hour. Microwave until bacon is done. Serve warm.

8 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped 1/2 small onion, chopped 3 oz. Swiss cheese, grated 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 t. basil 1 can (10 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuits Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients except cheese and biscuits. Separate biscuits into halves. Lay biscuit halves on baking stone or cookie sheet, with the edges touching. Spread mixture over the top of the biscuits. Bake 15-17 minutes, or until edges of biscuits are golden brown. Immediately top biscuits with grated cheese.

10 Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Rods 10 slices of bacon 1 cup Parmesan cheese Wrap a slice of bacon around each pretzel rod. Place on a microwave safe dish covered with two layers of paper towels. Microwave for 5-6 minutes or until bacon is cooked to a golden brown. Carefully remove from oven and roll each pretzel rod in a plate covered with Parmesan cheese. Stand upright in a mug or attractive dish to serve.
